Queen Alexandra Radio
Apr 25th, 2009 by salfordlids
This is the first in a series of edited interviews from Queen Alexandra Court in Ordsall, Salford, a sheltered housing complex close to the centre of Manchester. It houses people who lived through World War II and remember the bombs that fell on the streets and the nearby Docks. The podcast was put together by Jane, our regular reporter, who went and talked to the residents over a series of evenings. Thanks to them for responding and being so helpful, even if the provess did interfere with their regular Bingo sessions.
